  • McCartney's solo release "Wings Wild Life" contains a song titled "Tomorrow" which not only parodies "Yesterday" in the title, but also borrows the first four chords, albeit transcribed to the key of D major.
  • The original recording is the first to feature only one of the Beatles.
  • Paul McCartney tunes his guitar one whole tone lower than standard for the recording of this song. Thus his playing in G Major is tonally actually F Major. [thanks to Abdo Ades http://www.abdopiano.com]
