"All You Need Is Love" was released in America on July 17th, 1967 together with "Baby, You're A Rich Man" on the flip side. It entered the Hot 100 at number 71 on July 22nd. Four weeks later it was the Beatles' 14th number one single besting the Doors' "Light My Fire". It stayed at number one for one week, giving way to Bobbie Gentry's "Ode to Billie Joe".
