A former ASCAP President (1980-1986), Hal David is a lyricist who is both an Oscar and Grammy winner. With his chief collaborator, composer Burt Bacharach, Hal David was writer and producer of a long string of major hit singles for Dionne Warwick. An inductee into the Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Nashville Songwriters Association International Hall of Fame, his credits include: Raindrops Keep Fallin' On My Head, Alfie, I'll Never Fall in Love Again, Walk On By, The Look of Love, Do You Know the Way to San Jose?, and the lyric scores to What's New Pussycat?, Casino Royale and the Broadway musical "Promises, Promises."
